Admissions Criteria
1. Children from socially disadvantaged circumstances who have July and August birthdays and who are in their immediate pre-school year.
2. Children from socially disadvantaged circumstances who are in their immediate pre-school year.
3. Children who have July and August birthdays and who are in their immediate preschool year.
4. Other children in their immediate pre-school year.
Sub Criteria
Should there be more applicants than places available, the following admissions sub criteria will apply;
a) Children with siblings at Bunscoil Mhic Reachtain or at Naíscoil Mhic Reachtain.
b) Children from an Irish Language background and for those parents who demonstrate a commitment to promotion of the language ie. Willing to attend Irish classes.
c) Children in the order on which they have registered for Naíscoil Mhic Reachtain.
d) Any remaining places will be allocated in order of age – Eldest first.
